Kenny Moore began coaching baseball at DSF in the spring of 1974, under the tutelage of Wayne Hoy, and John Walker. He was the head varsity coach from 1983 through 2008. At his last home game in 2008 the field was dedicated in his honor in front of family, friends and 100 players from over the years. At that time Kenny had the most wins in Central Region History. However he has continued to be a volunteer coach to the present. He plans to begin coaching for his 47th year this spring, under the direction of current coach Ray Moore, his son. How cool is that! Congratulations Coach Kenny on a career well done, and for making the class of 1969 proud!
